I plan to dive back into web design soon. I’m going to get a laptop very soon so I can work on things anywhere when the mood strikes. The main reason for not working on things is my current job.
I currently work at Hertz Equipment Rental as a Temp. This job involves servicing and cleaning various equipment (Rototillers, Lawn Aerators, Plate Compactors, etc.) as well as lifting them on and off cars or trucks. So, 8 hours of that then a 1.5mi bike ride across town to a bus stop, wait a good 10 to 20 minutes for the bus that then takes me about 1.5mi up the hill. I then have a 2mi bike ride uphill home. By the time I get home I don’t feel like doing much of anything (even games :\ ).
However, my dislike of this job is re-motivating to get back into web design so I can quit Express (this is the temp agency I work for that puts me wherever) and do web stuff full time.
I’m going to update WordPress now… and it seems to have worked.

I’m still around (not that there’s anyone actually reading this, but I enjoy typing anyway). Just been quite tired after work and haven’t been able to get myself to do anything here. I currently work at Byran Healthcare, packing medical supplies (things like diapers, Ensure, catheters, etc.) for shipping. Not that bad of a job. Anyway, should have been asleep a while ago, so, I shall do this.

I just came across a WP theme called sandbox that is make for building other themes off of. I think I will mess around with that for a while…

I haven’t really done anything in two weeks. Don’t know why… Anyway, I’ll be moving to Issaquah, Washington in four days which will definitely stop me from doing any work for a bit. Oh well…

I am glad this has happened as I was building up a lot of rage toward EA for the persistent bugs in Battlefield 2142 that inhibit my enjoyment. They release a patch the nerfs AP Mines but don’t touch issues that have been with the game since the beta. And these are big issues too.
But! Enough about bad things, this is a joyous day! All shall rejoice and be glad!

I couldn’t bring myself to do any work over the weekend. All I did was sit in my room, listen to music, read, play CivIII, and watch Kamen Rider 555 episodes for two days. I’m on Ep 32 out of 50 and so far it’s my favorite Kamen Rider… Not that I’ve seen many, I’ve watched all of Kabuto and am watching the current one, Den-O. Anyway, it is unimportant. I’ll be away in Eugene for the next two days, so maybe I’ll have renewed energy at that point.

I’ve been browsing through other themes and now I feel like I need to scrap my design… I did like it for it’s simplicity, but now it looks too bland. That’s what I get for looking at other designs by people who are better than me. :(
Well, maybe I should stick with it for now. I guess simplicity and “bland-ness” are good for writing my first theme.
That blue on the sidebar is still not right…
