I just came across a WP theme called sandbox that is make for building other themes off of. I think I will mess around with that for a while…
Still trying to write a résumé, find a job, and organize my massive amount of stuff.

I’ve been browsing through other themes and now I feel like I need to scrap my design… I did like it for it’s simplicity, but now it looks too bland. That’s what I get for looking at other designs by people who are better than me. :(
Well, maybe I should stick with it for now. I guess simplicity and “bland-ness” are good for writing my first theme.
That blue on the sidebar is still not right…
I sorta got my bastard theme working. It doesn’t look very good and needs a bit more work. The Default stylesheet is sort of a tangled mess despite the comments.
ARG! I just realized how to edit the default theme to look like my design. I was going about it the hard way. Not that I’m going to stop writing my own theme, just that I’ll have some thing that doesn’t look default for now.
I’m a bit burnt out at the moment for trying to write that theme I’ll probably pick it up again tomorrow when I don’t have work the next day, or the next day when I don’t have work… So right now I’ll do the next best thing and look for some useful plugins for WP.
That or I’ll watch more Kamen Rider 555 (Φ’s).
Ok, back to the default theme for now while I re-bang out my theme.

Ok, after some sleep I’ve decided that instead of trying to deal with the nightmarish tangle of trying to combine my design with the default theme, I should just write the whole thing from the ground up….

Well, I was right, the theory is easy. There is, however, a lot of work involved. Work for tomorrow though. Or “today” as it is, but later today.
